This cold winter month of December was warmed with the presence of The Chocolate Festival at The SouthBank Centre Square this weekend gone. The moment you turned onto to the approach to the festival you could smell the sweet aroma of chocolate in the air. Jam packed stalls from around the world  gathered to showcase their chocolate orientated products.

Everything from cakes, cookies, chocolate churros, chocolate chilli, hot chocolate and chocolate cocktails are available and on display. Also at the festival there is the opportunity to take part in tutored chocolate tasting or learn how to make your own chocolate. In attendance are world class award winning chocolatiers who will be giving master class cookery demonstrations so there’s plenty to see and do!

“The Chocolate Festival is all about indulging your passion for chocolate and learning that it can actually be good for you! I want to show people the fun and creativity as well as the health benefits that come from this exquisite product!” Yael Rose, Event Director
