On Friday the 5th of April AJ ‘Big Dog’ Carter made his professional debut at Grays Civic Hall Essex against Paul Morris a Goodwin Promotions event televised by EuroSport. AJ Carter a heavyweight from Brixton South London is a hard hitting but quick heavyweight something which is rare in the heavyweight division.
AJ Carter made a positive impression on his professional debut with only 5 amateur fights under his belt but valuable sparring experience with the likes of the UK’s former heavyweight David Haye. Managed by Derek ‘Sweet D’ Williams

and trained by Carlton Warren, AJ Carter displayed a good range of boxing skills in the ring good head movement with powerful punching. A lot of credit must be handed to his opponent Paul Morris who showed a lot of steel to complete the fight as most fighters would have taken the easy way out and gone home after the first round. The fight went the scheduled 4 rounds with AJ Carter winning 40 points to Paul Morris’s 36 points.
We are expecting to see AJ ‘Big Dog’ Carter a lot more this year and predict a prosperous future for the South London heavyweight.
